Ginny Fogg

Ginny grew up in Wilson and attended UNC-Chapel Hill as an undergraduate. After earning her law degree from Columbia Law School in 1994, she clerked for the North Carolina Supreme Court, then practiced class action litigation and transactional law in Northern California for several years. After returning to North Carolina, in 2008, she opened her own practice focused on representing students with disabilities in special education and discipline matters. In 2014, she joined Disability Rights North Carolina and became the Supervising Attorney of the Special Education Team. In 2023, she returned to private practice with her DRNC colleague, Lucy Hatchell. Fogg Hatchell represents students in education matters, with a focus on special education.

Ginny has two (grown!) children who now live in Southern California. Ginny and her husband are still busy parenting their two rambunctious Golden Retrievers.

Lucy Hatchell

Lucy is originally from Los Angeles but grew up in Chapel Hill and attended Indiana University as an undergraduate. After college, Lucy worked for a content company in Santa Monica, CA. She then earned her law degree from UNC School of Law in 2015 and, upon graduating, she joined the Special Education Team at Disability Rights North Carolina. In 2023, Lucy entered into private practice with her DRNC colleague, Ginny Fogg. Fogg Hatchell represents students in education matters, with a focus on special education.

Lucy enjoys running around with her husband, two children, and yellow lab.
